Poet's Prefix

I fear what if my creativity

cease someday ?

The parts of speech 

might fall apart.

If conjunctions fail to

connect things together.

Imagine the poetic device 

rooted inside get rusted.

Wonder the metaphor seems

to become more meaningless.

Like the simile will be in

search for a comparison.

Rhyme of sentences will

break the rhythm of poem.

Soon the oxymoron too will 

loose the sense of humour.

But what about the punctuations,

will they too break the harmony?

I don't think so.....

They are quite punctual.

The semicolon seems to give 

some ray of hope.

It tells that there's something left 

before you put the full stop.

The noun & pronoun will be back

in their place with a backspace.

Even the poetic devices

soon will get dusted.
